Faculty of Economics and Political Science –
Cairo University (and its newspaper ELITE) extends its sincere
congratulations to the esteemed faculty members who have been
appointed by decision of the Supreme Council of Universities as
members of the Scientific Committees for reviewing scholarly output
for the promotion to the positions of Professors and Associate
Professors – Fifteenth Session (2025–2028), in the fields of
Economics, Political Science, Statistics, and Insurance.
The appointments were as follows:
Economics and Public Finance Committee: Prof.
Omnia Amin Helmy, Professor of Economics at the Faculty (Committee
Rapporteur).
Political Science Committee: Prof. Shadia Fathy,
Professor of Political Science (Committee Rapporteur), and Prof.
Samir Abdel Wahab, Professor of Public Administration (Committee
Member).
Statistics and Insurance Committee: Prof. Hanan
Mohamed Ali, Professor of Statistics and Acting Dean of the Faculty
(Committee Member).
The Faculty affirms
that this selection reflects the distinguished academic standing of
its professors and their scholarly leadership at the national level.
It also wishes them continued success in carrying out their duties,
contributing to the advancement of scientific research and the
enhancement of higher education in Egypt.
