Under the auspices of the
Central Bank of Egypt, and in collaboration with the Egyptian
Banking Institute, the Union of Egyptian Banks, and Banque Misr,
students of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo
University have achieved a new milestone added to the faculty's
record.
A team of
college students secured third place in the FINTECH Got Talent
competition organized by the Central Bank of Egypt, thru their
innovative digital agricultural solution named “AgriDawar”.
The team participated in the competition among 31
Egyptian universities and managed to achieve this advanced position
with merit, reflecting the excellence of the college's students and
their leadership in the field of financial technology.
The team will continue its journey by
participating in the Arab Fintech Challenge competition held in
Dubai, as part of the global GITEX NORTH STAR 2025 exhibition,
representing Egypt at the regional level.
The team is under the supervision of Dr. Yasmin
Gharib - Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of
Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and consists of:

This
achievement comes under the patronage and support of Professor Dr.
Mohamed Sami, President of Cairo University, and the supervision of
Professor Dr. Hanan Mohamed Ali, Dean of the Faculty, who always
strives to encourage the faculty's students to excel and participate
in initiatives and competitions that enhance their academic and
practical abilities.
