 On behalf of myself and the members of the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science - Cairo University, I am pleased to welcome you to the department webpage.

The department grants bachelor's degree in economics as well as a master's degree and doctorate in specialization, in addition to teaching many economic courses for students to provide the highest level of scientific education and academic social sciences for undergraduate and graduate students and conducting training at a high level of specialists in the field of economic sciences.

Also the department enable students and young researchers to contribute to the economic and human development through lectures and there training cycles. The department is one of the most important scientific departments in Egypt because of its members ,who are leading in economic fields, in local level, and international also they are involved in all economic forums .

Economics Department also organizes conferences and seminars.
